Anika Noni Rose is an American singer and actress. She is known for her role as Lorrell Robinson in the 2006 film Dreamgirls. 

For Disney, she provided both the speaking and singing voices of Princess Tiana in Disney's 2009 animated film, The Princess and the Frog. In August 2011, she became one of the few African-American's to be crowned a Disney Legend for her performance in The Princess and the Frog. Later, in December 2014, she provided the speaking and singing voices for Tiana again in an episode of Sofia the First.
