Now that the castle gates are open, Anna and Elsa are thrilled to be finally getting to know their kingdom. Anna bubbles with enthusiasm for all the things to do and the people to meet in Arendelle, and Elsa loves using her magic to help the town. But sometimes even a queen needs a day off.
The book starts off with some time after the events of Frozen. People now accepts Elsa for who she truly is. In her study, Elsa was looking over the plans for a new water system for Arendelle that needed her approval. Suddenly, Anna bursts in, excited to do the third item on "Anna's list of Things to Do in Arendelle" which is to eat Florian's Famous Flangendorfers, the "most delicious desert in all of Arendelle". Though hesitant, Elsa accepts much to Anna's delight. On their way to the bakery, Elsa and Anna encountered a little girl named Ingrid who skipped towards the two women and became shy and timid around Elsa.
