Alexander

Alexander is a minor character from the 1940 Disney film, Pinocchio. He was one of the many victims at Pleasure Island. Alexander wore a blue sailor suit and was voiced by Dickie Jones, the same actor who voiced Pinocchio.

He is shown on screen, briefly, when the donkeys are being tested to see if they have fully transformed. Alexander had not lost his voice and begged the coachman to let him go home to his mama. The coachman grabbed him and threw him in a pen with other donkeys that can still talk. All of the donkeys beg to go home, but the coachman cracks his whip to silence them and shouts, "QUIET! You boys have HAD your fun! NOW PAY FOR IT!!!" It is unknown what happened to Alexander and the other donkeys though early on before Pleasure Island is shown for the first time the coachman can be seen whipping donkeys on his stagecoach as he is taking the boys to Pleasure Island.
