Alastair George Bell Sim CBE (October 9, 1900August 19, 1976) was a Scottish character actor who began his theatrical career at the age of thirty, but quickly became established as a popular West End performer, remaining so until his death in 1976. He also appeared in more than fifty British films, starting in 1935. He is best well known for playing Dickens cold-hearted miser Ebenezer Scrooge in both the 1951 film Scrooge and the Richard Williams adaption of A Christmas Carol.

His only Disney role was Lord Harrogate in the 1976 film Escape from the Dark.
